G-1 Glass Pool Table

This wonderfully futuristic-looking creation is the G-1 pool table from Nottage Design and it features a toughened glass top and patented resin playing surface. It's quite hefty at 320kg (705 lbs) and the price tag is pretty hefty too (AUS RRP $39,900.00) but doesn't it look neat?

The Spice Outfit Chicago

The Spice Outfit Chicago features some really interesting spice blends, steak and meat rubs that were inspired by some old school gangster types like Al Capone and Bugsy Siegel. If you know someone who watches Goodfellas, The Godfather movies or Scarface more often than is healthy and has a penchant for cooking then this would be a great gift that would leave them forever in your debt.

Retro Diner Booths

I can't be the only person out there who has fantasized about having a kitchen that looks like a diner from the fifties, so for those of you out there who are keeping the dream alive here are some really spiffy retro diner booths! They come in tons of funky and fabulous colors and they're $485-$700.

Susan Bradley Creep Furniture

The Creep effect on this shelf and table by Susan Bradley is a really creative way of making the surface "pop" by using cutaway floral patterns that appear to grow out from the rigid form.

Gummy Anatomical Heart

Here's a gruesome gift for your lovely valentine this year! This Anatomical Gummy Heart is strawberry flavored, is more than a mouthful at a "hearty" 4" tall and 3.2oz and has quite a bit of detail for a gummy candy! Yum?

Squares Wallpaper

This Squares Wallpaper looks great! I'm pretty sure I wouldn't want to be sitting in a room like this for very long because staring at it for a short time has made me a little dizzy but I love the effect.

Ceramic Toothbrush Holder With Attitude

These ceramic toothbrush holders have a little bit of attitude and if you feel as strongly as I do about other people using your toothbrush then you'll definitely want the one that says "Use this toothbrush and I will break your arm".
It's a stern warning but it's a warning that must be heeded!
The one with the adorable, grinning skull and crossbones that says "keep smiling" does deliver a much more pleasant message if you're interested in keeping the peace.

Bang! Bang!

These pearl pistol earrings by Rebecca Berry are smoking (yeah, couldn't resist that terrible pun). They're made of pewter and I love the pearls and little star posts as they really add to the vintage look.

Bath Boat by Wieki Somers

This bath boat by Wieki Somers would help produce the illusion that you're floating along on a placid lake while you're in the bath. It's also big enough to invite some friends along for the ride as the second picture suggests. Have fun!

Carl Warner Photography

I had stumbled upon Carl Warner's fantastic foodscapes at some point a while back but this was before I had taken to bookmarking every single thing that interests me so his wondrous landscapes made of delectable delights just disappeared from the forefront of my memory...until today. Today, I was wandering around the net and found The World's Fair and lo and behold there he was in all his glory! I can rest well tonight.

Kanzashi Masks by Ccaspia

Are you ready for the masquerade? These paper kanzashi masks by ccaspia on Etsy are really stunning and I think they'd make a beautiful accessory to any costume. The masks are currently available in many different colors and styles and all are very affordable so have a look!

As a bonus, here's a great little tutorial by Magdalena Knight of Mookychick on how to make your very own kanzashi flowers and it also includes a bit of information about kanzashi. Check it out!

Fishy Phone Booth

If you feel like making a quick call, it's probably not in your best interest to choose this particular phone booth at the Lyon Light Festival in France but it would be fun to stop to take a peek at what's going on inside! This phone booth was turned into an aquarium (and interesting piece of art) by the artists Benoit Deseille and Benedetto Bufalino.
